Starting September I began working on a Magawebzine project and the theme is ‘Ten/Measurement’.
It requires me to find 10 products that are worthless and I then go on to create them into something new that at least one item can be sold on for profit. These products are to be sold on, ‘The World’s Online Marketplace’, ebay, but before then I am to advertise them within a magazine, with the title ‘Ten’. I will also design all aspects of this magazine, from the content, to the logo and layouts. To help with the layouts I will look at the fibonacci sequence, using it as a grid guide but yet trying to stay away from the traditional column look. This will be shown through a cover and 10 double-page spreads. I will produced a single paper edition of the magazine and I will continue to develop it through this blog.
I will also create a 10 second promotional animation video that will advertise the magazine. This will be able to be viewed via YouTube and also this blog as a web banner.
Finally the whole project will then be summed up in a short essay styled journal.
