I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to ‘The Museum of Brands…’. I planned on visiting as I am interested in brands and advertising, however recently there has been a trend in relaunching particular brands therefore I thought it would be interesting to see the originals. Brands that have been relaunched recently that you may of noticed are the Wispa and Monster Munch. Both from the 80’s are back due to popular demand and in there original packaging. Due to how successful the Wispa was relaunched, Monster Munch are now launching a very clever advertising campaign as they discovered that they cannot find the three monster puppets that they used in there original advertisements for the snack in the 1970s and 80s. They are offering consumers a £5,000 reward if anyone can find them. People say that these eighties products were popular again ‘because consumers appreciate things that remind them of old times, especially of their childhoods’.
